TURN YOUR SCREENSHOTS INTO A DOCUMENT.
PNG → PDF gathers one or more PNG images into a single PDF. You can upload up to 20 images; each one becomes its own page and the pages follow the upload order. PNG is the typical format for screenshots, diagrams, charts and design exports. It is used to share screenshots that show a bug step by step, the slide exports of a presentation or a design draft as a single file. Only .png files are accepted.
PDF does not carry transparency: the transparent areas in the PNG are filled with a white backdrop, and no black frame appears. “The image's own size” makes each page the size of the image; a long screenshot stays in one piece. “A4 (centred)” fits the image onto an A4 page, centres it and prepares it at 150 DPI. Each page is saved as an image. For photos use “JPG → PDF”, and for mixed formats the “Image → PDF” tool.
From start to finish
- Upload your PNG files in order. Choose between 1 and 20 images. The page order is the upload order.
- Choose the page size. The image's own size if it will be read on screen, A4 if it will be printed.
- Download the PDF. Download the single PDF file once it is ready. The copies on the server are deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to a transparent background?
Because PDF does not carry transparency, the transparent areas turn white. With transparent images such as logos, the result comes out on a white backdrop.
Will a long screenshot fit on one page?
If you choose “The image's own size”, yes: the page becomes as tall as the image. If you choose A4, the image shrinks to fit the page and can become hard to read.
Can I copy the text in the PDF?
No. Each page is an image and no text recognition (OCR) is done.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
