STRAIGHTEN PAGES SCANNED THE WRONG WAY.
Rotate PDF turns the pages of a PDF 90 degrees to the right, 90 degrees to the left or 180 degrees. You can apply the rotation to the whole document, to only the odd-numbered or only the even-numbered pages, or to the page range you write. It fixes in a single step such problems as a contract scanned sideways, a few pages placed upside down, or every second page coming out the wrong way up in a double-sided scan.
The rotation is lossless: the page is not redrawn, only the angle at which it is displayed is changed. That is why the writing and the images stay exactly as sharp and the file size does not change. The new angle is added to the current one: if you give another 90 degrees to a page that is already turned 90 degrees, the page ends up turned 180 degrees. You write the page range starting from 1: 2, 5-7 or 9-, for example. If you use “Odd-numbered” together with a range, the rotation is applied only to the odd-numbered pages inside that range. You can upload up to 8 PDFs at once; they are all processed with the same settings, and several files download as a single ZIP.
From start to finish
- Upload your PDF. Drag the file in or select it. The page count is read.
- Choose the angle and the pages. 90° right, 180° or 90° left. Then choose all, odd, even or particular pages. To turn a single page on its own, press ↻ on its thumbnail.
- Rotate and download. Download the new PDF. The copy on the server is deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
In a double-sided scan the back sides came out upside down. What should I do?
Choose 180° as the angle and tick “Even-numbered only”. The back sides are fixed and the front sides are left alone.
Does rotating affect the quality?
No. The content of the page is not touched; only the angle at which it will be shown is written.
How do I undo the rotation?
Apply a rotation in the opposite direction to the same pages: if you turned them 90° right, turn them 90° left. Your original file is unchanged anyway.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
