TURN EVERY PAGE INTO AN IMAGE.
PDF → Image converts the pages of a PDF into image files. You choose the format: PNG is lossless and royalty-free and gives screenshot-quality results; WebP produces noticeably smaller files at the same quality and opens in every modern browser; JPG is the most widely supported format, right for e-mail and older programs. Pages are rasterised with the PDF rendering engine used by Chrome (PDFium): embedded fonts, vector drawings and transparency are drawn exactly as they are.
You choose the resolution: 72 dpi is enough for showing on screen and keeps the file small, 150 dpi is the balanced choice for most jobs, 300 dpi is print quality (an A4 page becomes 2480×3508 pixels). Page selection is written as in PDF Split: 5, 3-5 or 9-; leave it empty to convert every page. If you select a single page the image downloads directly; if you select several, all images arrive in one ZIP and the file names carry the page number. Page text is drawn as an image; the result is not editable text — if you need the text, use the “PDF → Word” tool. You can upload up to 8 PDFs at once; with several documents, each one's output sits in the ZIP under its own name.
From start to finish
- Upload your PDF. Drag the file in or select it. The page count is read.
- Choose the format, pages and resolution. PNG lossless, WebP small, JPG compatible. Leave the pages empty for all of them; 150 dpi is balanced.
- Download. A single page downloads as an image, several pages as a ZIP. The copy on the server is deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose between PNG, WebP and JPG?
If quality and editing matter most, PNG; for use on a web page, WebP (smaller than JPG at the same quality); if it must open everywhere, JPG. All three render the page with the same engine — only the file format differs.
Can the text be selected?
No. The output is an image; the text on the page is drawn as pixels. For editable or copyable text use the “PDF → Word” tool; “PDF Metadata” shows whether the document has a text layer.
Which resolution should I choose?
For a web page or a presentation, 110–150 dpi is enough. If it will be printed or zoomed into for reading, choose 300 dpi; the files get bigger but the letters stay sharp. 72 dpi is only for small previews.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
