Reorder PDF Pages
Changes the order of the pages.

Reorder PDF Pages lines the pages of a PDF up again in the order you write. You write the new order with page numbers: “3, 1, 2” brings the third page to the front. You can use ranges too: “5-8, 1-4” brings the second half forward; a backwards range such as “4-1” adds those pages in reverse order. To reverse the whole document, writing just “reverse” is enough; a document scanned in reverse order is fixed that way in a single step.
This tool does not delete pages. The pages you do not write are not dropped, they are added at the end of the document in their current order; that is why writing only the pages you want to move is enough. If you write the same page twice, only the first one is taken into account. The pages are copied exactly and the quality does not change. To delete pages use “Delete PDF Pages”, and to make a few pages into a separate PDF use “Extract PDF Pages”. You can upload up to 8 PDFs at once; they are all processed with the same settings, and several files download as a single ZIP.
From start to finish
- Upload your PDF. Drag the file in or select it. The total page count is read.
- Write the new order. For example 3, 1, 2 or 5-8, 1-4. To reverse the document, write “reverse”.
- Reorder and download. Download the newly ordered PDF. The copy on the server is deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
I only want to move the last page to the front.
In a 10-page document, writing “10” is enough. Page 10 comes to the front and the remaining nine follow behind it in their current order.
Can I use a page twice?
No. Each page appears once; a number written again is ignored.
Can I mix the pages of two different documents?
First make the two documents into a single file with “Merge PDF”, then line the pages up in the order you want with this tool.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
