GATHER THE DOCUMENTS INTO ONE FILE.
Merge PDF gathers between 2 and 8 PDF files into a single document; JPG, PNG and WebP images can be added too, each becoming one page. The documents are joined in the order of the list; you can change it with the arrows or by dragging. In the “Pages” section you see every page in one grid: drag pages one by one to reorder them, rotate them 90 degrees or remove them. It is used to send the parts of an application, invoices, scanned pages, the sections of a report or a signed contract together with its annexes as a single file.
The pages are carried over as they are: fonts, images and drawings are not processed again, so there is no loss of quality. Fonts used across several pages are written once, so the file does not grow unnecessarily. Bookmarks (the contents panel) and fillable form fields are not carried into the new document; the look of the pages, however, is preserved exactly. The title and author details of the first document are transferred to the new file. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
From start to finish
- Upload your PDFs and images. Choose between 2 and 8 files. You can change the order of the documents in the list with the arrows or by dragging.
- Arrange the pages and start. If you like, in the “Pages” section drag pages to reorder them, rotate with ↻ and remove with ✕. If you leave them alone, the documents are joined in the order of the list.
- Download the single PDF. Download the merged document. The copies on the server are deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
How do I merge more than 8 PDFs?
Merge the first eight, then upload the document that comes out together with the remaining files.
Does the quality drop?
No. The pages are not redrawn or compressed; the content is copied exactly.
What happens to the form fields I filled in?
Fillable form fields do not work in the new document. If you filled in a form, first turn it into a flat PDF with “Save as PDF” from the print window, and merge afterwards.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
