DROP THE PAGES YOU DO NOT NEED.
Delete PDF Pages takes the pages you choose out of a PDF and gives you the rest as a new document. You write the pages to be deleted starting from 1: 4 for a single page, 5-7 for a range, 12- for one page through to the end of the document. You can separate several parts with commas: “1, 4, 10-12”. It is used to drop blank pages, advertising pages, unnecessary annexes, a cover page or the sections you do not want to share.
The remaining pages are copied exactly; because the writing, the images and the fonts are not processed again, the quality does not change. The file you uploaded is not changed, and the copy with the pages deleted comes down as a separate file. If you select all the pages, nothing is done and you are asked to look over your selection. If you want the opposite — taking only particular pages and making a new PDF — “Extract PDF Pages” is the shorter way. To change the order of the pages, use the “Reorder PDF Pages” tool. You can upload up to 8 PDFs at once; they are all processed with the same settings, and several files download as a single ZIP.
From start to finish
- Upload your PDF. Drag the file in or select it. The total page count is read.
- Write the pages to delete. For example 2, 5-7. Page numbers start from 1; write 9- for everything through to the last page.
- Remove and download. Download the PDF made of the remaining pages. The copy on the server is deleted when you leave the tool.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know the page numbers?
Use the sequence number your PDF viewer shows (1, 2, 3…). The page numbers printed on the document itself can be different; the tool goes by the sequence.
How do I delete the last pages of the document?
For the last page, write the total page count; in a 24-page document, 24. For the last three pages you can write 22-.
I deleted the wrong page.
Your original file is unchanged. Run the tool again and write the right pages.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
