Add Logo / Watermark to Video places your own image over the video. You upload two files: the video and the logo. The logo size is given as a percentage of the video width (between 3% and 60%), so the same logo stays proportional at both small and large resolutions. Transparency is set between 5% and 100% — lower values push the logo into the background, leaving your mark without distracting the viewer.
Use PNG for logos with a transparent background. JPG carries no transparency; a JPG logo on a white background appears as a white box over the video. The logo is burned into the image and cannot be removed later. Your audio is preserved: if the output container can carry the sound, it is never re-encoded; if it cannot, the output format's own audio setting is used.
From start to finish
- Upload your video. Drag or choose your file. MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM and M4V files can be uploaded, up to 10 GB.
- Upload your logo. Drop your image into the second area. PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and BMP are accepted; pick PNG if you want a transparent background.
- Place it and download. Set the position, size, transparency and margin. Choose the output format and start.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my logo appear inside a white box?
You have probably uploaded a JPG. The JPG format carries no transparency, so the white area around your logo is printed onto the video as well. Use a PNG with a transparent background.
How transparent should a watermark be?
For a channel logo sitting in the corner, somewhere between 50% and 70% is right in most cases. If your aim is copyright protection, pick a higher value and a larger size; it becomes harder to remove.
Will the video's audio be degraded?
No. The watermark is applied to the image only. If the output container can carry the source audio format, the sound is copied as it is and never re-encoded.
Does my file stay on the server?
No. Your file reaches the server only to be processed and is deleted when the job is done; the output is deleted too once you download it and leave the tool. You don't need an account, a name or an email address, and your files are never sent to a third-party service. It is free to use: we set no hourly or daily quota on the number of jobs, we don't make you watch an ad before processing, and we add no watermark to the output.
